I happily requested off for today... Partly because I was tired of working. =P
Woke up in the morning.. I realised my mom had gone for work leaving me home alone.. I tried to entertain myself by watching tv... After watching for a while, I changed and left my house for movies at Tiong. It's too bored watching tv alone at home.
Since I'm entitled for 2 movies this week, I signed in for Sweeney Todd and American Gangster. After my movies, I had nowhere else to go except home...
So... A day all by myself...

250108, FridayBefore leaving for work, Addy and I went to Centrepoint because I had to help my mom to bring some stuff there. I insisted on going to Kalm's because I'm persistent on finding the Me-to-You bear key chain.
This time, I saw a bear that looks like the one I saw the other time.
It's not a key chain but I can attach a key chain ring to it. I pointed to Addy and said I'm gonna save money for that. Addy said he'll buy for me and took it to the counter. I didn't expect leh... =D
I should have aimed for a bigger bear... Haiz... Wasted... =P
After walking around, it's time to work again...
Jason came with his friends to catch a movie. We asked him how he's gonna watch a movie when he's starting work in an hour's time. He didn't believe what we said and kept saying that we're lying to him. To prove that we're innocent, we showed him the roster. So blur...
I didn't have much to do for work that day. Since I'm training Luanne and it's not her first day at box, I threw my counter to her.. =P For the whole day, I just slacked around.. hehe... Actually I did helped out lah... I went around to lend whoever who needs my hand. =D
At one point of time, I saw Jason writing something with his left hand. I wanted to say, "Hey, Jason, act cute ah? Use left hand to write." But I didn't say it out. I just kept laughing to myself because I remembered he's a left-hander. Luanne asked why am I laughing. I told her the reason. Jason heard it too. Then they laughed at me... Made me paiseh... *sob*
After work, I stayed in the staff room and enjoyed my ice cream even though I'm gonna be late to meet Meihua. I didn't wanna walk and eat my ice cream mah... And eating ice cream together with some friends seem to make the ice cream taste better... hee.. After finishing, I rushed off immediately.
I'm meeting Meihua, Xiusi and Huanglin for St James! It's holding hands and molesting time for me! Wahahahaha...
We went into Dragonfly. Actually I wanted to stayed on in Dragonfly but since Michael can't come in, we all left for Powerhouse instead. As it gets later, the music got a little better and we managed to dance! Throughout, I kept molesting Meihua and Huanglin. =P I dare not molest Xiusi cuz I can't imagine what she'll do to me... =P
When Michael left, we sent him off and went to Dragonfly for some more music. I like it when the uncle sing leh... There's a lady singing there... She sing very power! Woosh!
After all the fun, Xiusi went to fetch her friends home from DXO, Huanglin left for home.. Meihua and I went to McDonalds for some drinks before taking the NR home.

Seriously I dunno what happened.
It's been a while since I trained someone. Since it was her first day, I just taught her the basics first. I stood beside her and guided her through. It feels kinda tough teaching her because she's kinda scared to touch my counter. I felt an accomplishment when she finally dared to serve and touch the counter all by herself.
At the end of the day, it was nightmare for me. 我明明有好好看她。 为什么还会这样？I was down by $14 and had a missing cc slip! It's the worst box performance I had! Argh!

Wow... The people at UOB's customer service are good! They were polite and went all out to help me out with my problem... although they put me on hold for some time. Halfway through, I accidentally hang up the phone. The person who was assisting me called me back! =)
~*~*~*This morning, I saw a stalk of flower on the table. I asked my mom, "Bro bought flower for you ah?" My mother said, "No... It's the other way round." I was puzzled why my mother bought flower for him so I asked her... Then she said, "No lah... It's Yingting buy for him.."
Later in the evening, my father took that stalk of flower and showed it to me. He asked if I bought the flower for my bro. I said, "No... Mummy buy for you leh." My mother quickly said,"We married for so long your father never even gimme a stalk." My father tried to defend himself, "We don't fancy this kinda thing. Ok lah.. I go to the market to buy 茉莉花." "Wah.. Then I become 老婆神.. Ok lor... Better than nothing..."

It's been a long time since I've slept till so late. Actually, I slept till 1230 in the afternoon. I wanted to sleep somemore but it was too noisy.
I was too lazy to go out for movies... So I spent my whole day lying on the sofa, watching videos and my father walking here and there to monitor the workers. He was very pissed with their progress with our toilets.
A lesson learned... When you wanna renovate your house, you have to choose those reputable ones plus a little luck. If not, they will give you more problems instead of solving them.

"Customers are always right."
I disagree! Today, I'm officially irritated with this phrase. I insisted that I was right and it was the customer who was wrong. I know I was kinda bad.
It all started when I just opened my counter today. My 2nd customer approached my counter. As usual, I greeted politely and served.
Then...
He: Can I have a look at the screen?Me: Sorry sir, I can't turn the screen. He: What you mean you can't turn. Everytime I buy my tickets, I'm able to look at the screen.Me: Sir, but I really can't turn the screen. Maybe you can tell me roughly where would you like to sit?He: How would I know where am I siting when I can't see! Everytime I can see the screen when I buy my tickets.Me: Erm... Sir, this is GV.... He: Yes, I know this is GV.Me: We don't show the screen. For other cinemas, they do. Maybe I can roughly describe the cinema and where your seats would be.He: I've been here many times before. I've watched many movies before. Everytime I'm able to see why can't I see!Me: But I'm really unable to turn the monitor. Once the monitor is moved, the screen would blackout because of the wire.He: I don't care. I've been here many times before. I don't see why I'm not able to see the screen this time. Maybe because you're new.Me: But sir, all this while, we don't turn the screen to customers.He: What 'all this while'. You can't say 'all this while' because everytime I'm able to turn and see the screen! It's because you're new that's why you don't know.After debating with him for such a long time, my patience was at my limit.
"In actual fact, I've been working here for almost 2 years. I'm really not able to turn the screen. the best I can do for you is to describe the cinema and roughly where your seats would be. If you do not like it, you can tell me what seats you would like and I can try my best to give you those seats."
Immediately after I've finished saying, he grabbed his bag and walked away angrily. I was also very pissed at that time. I mumbled to myself, "Attitude customer. Gimme attitude, I give you attitude." Hidayah heard it. She could sense my anger. She asked me what happened so, I told her everything. When I've finished telling my story, I was so angry that the sacred four letter word was at the tip of my mouth.
Throughout the whole incident, I had to try to smile and not look like I would pounce onto him anytime to kill him. No matter how angry I am, I had to maintain my cool. Argh!
After the incident, I had to take my test. I wasn't in the mood for anything so, I anyhow scribbled some words on the paper and hand it up. Matthew and Hidayah stood beside me to try to cool me down. Matthew even told me an embarrassing story about himself to make me smile.
It's good to have friends to be there for you when you some company. It's good to have them when you need them. It's a great relieve when you are down as they are there to cheer you up. =D

For the past week, it's like work, work and work for me. I can't really remember anything else except my time spent working @ Tiong... Haiz..
180108, FridayAfter working, it's was steamboat time with Sharmaine and the rest. As usual, poor Sharmaine was being suan-ed at. Sometimes I really admire her because she don't seem to care being called fat all the time. Instead, she tried to console herself that she maintained her weight...
Sharmaine, Ivan and I went to buy a cake for Weiping because it was his belated birthday. We took a long time to decide which cake to buy. After getting the cake, we hurried off to Chong Qing.
When we're almost full, we took out the cake and sang a happy birthday song for Weiping. It was bit paiseh because our table was right in the middle.
After dinner, we went home. On the way to the MRT station, I told Addy that I felt like going to the toilet. He turned to Sharmaine and Jingyan and said quite loudly that I wanna shit. I was very paiseh leh...
Then... I was embarrassed all the way. At the train station, one of them said quite loudly that I wanna go toilet to shit. Suddenly, one of them would pinch their nose and said I farted. In the packed train, they would pinch their nose and either said I farted or I wanna shit. Then, they would change topic and talked about something else. And suddenly, put their hand on my shoulder and said, "POOOO~"
I was tortured all the way from BUGIS to CHUA CHU KANG!!! Sobz...

At last, we're able to meet my beloved Ah Nini!!!
When we exited from Orchard MRT, there were a few shuai ge in suits, standing at the escalators greeting us! They smiled and said good afternoon! I dunno watz the occassion but they are really very shuai! Haha...
Lunch was at Far East's Hans. I had Mango Mouse Cake!!! Hmmmm... My craving for cake is still not satisfied... I want more cake!!! Wahahaha...
After lunch, we walked around Far East. We walked passed O2 Skin. Xiusi and I bought fake eyelashes and nails. I was the model for the day! I was used to demonstrate how to put the lashes on. When it was done, somehow, I fell in love with my eyes! hee..
After walking around Orchard, it was time for me to work again.
200108, SundayRENA BIRTHDAY CELEB!
After doing CB closing the night before, I only managed to sleep at about 3am. In the end, I was 30mins late. Pisan waited for me at Hougang Station. So, she was late too! =P
We had lunch at Xing Wang. As usual, we chat and gossip. Hee... Rena complained about how fast time flies. We're getting old!!! =O
After lunch, we walked around Marina Square. I wanted to stay longer but I had to start work @ 4pm. At about 3.30, I parted with them for work. I was 2min late when I reached Tiong. It's my 4th time late this month! Oops!

Sawatdee ka!
I'm back from my crazy BKK trip! Hehehe...
In the morning, I went to work... The whole day, I was looking forward to 1st Jan 2008! After work, I went to JP to meet Addy. SUSHI DINNER! =D I went home after chatting with Eline while Addy went to SHIT. =P Gotta go home to sleep for a while before my flight.
Then... At last! It's time for us to fly.
Our flight was 6+ in the morning. We had to reach the airport at 4am+. I thought I was last to reach the airport again. But when I reached there, Meihua and Edelina were not there yet. I asked my parents to leave first because they seem tired. The first thing Xiusi did when she saw me was to complain that she went to the wrong terminal. I remembered I said budget terminal long long ago.. I thought T3 = Budget Terminal so I didn't correct her when she said meet at T3. =P
When Meihua and Ede came, we check-in and prepared for our flight.
For Budget Terminal, we had to walk up the plane ourselves! So exciting. It's like we're filming! =P We're not supposed to take pics but we did secretly.. hehe...
After 2hours, we're at the Land of Smiles, Thailand. We took a cab to our hotel. Four of us wanted to sleep in a room together illegally but we're caught! Haiz.. In the end, we got 2 rooms.
Anyways, we had fabulous rooms! There's a kitchen for us to cook our breakfast and washing machine to wash clothes! Hee.. After putting our stuff in our room, we started our adventure!
We went to visit the temples in the afternoon. With our 'sour' legs, we went to Chinatown for dinner. We settled down at a Peking restaurant. The customers there are mainly ah pek who talked super loud! They're very noisy. After dinner, we went to buy 'dog shit' and some groceries from the supermarket for our breakfasts.
Day2:From this day onwards, we started shopping officially. Shopping @ MBK. We spilt up after shopping for a while. Meihua and I felt tired after shopping one level. So.. We went to grab some food. We rewarded ourselves to Japanese food. The staff there were very friendly.
At nite, we wanted to watch the Ah Gua show. But it turned out to be too ex for us. So... We went to Lumphini Night Bazaar.
We had a hard time finding the place. In the end, we learned that Lumphini Night Bazaar = Suan Lum Night Bazaar... -.-"
Day 3:Shopping @ Pratunam! In the end, we went to Baiyoke instead. The stuff they sell are for wholesale prices! Cheap cheap!! But in order to get those prices we had to purchase a min number. Again, Meihua and I were tired after walking for some time.
We walked round and round to find Baiyoke Tower. When we've finally reached there, we looked for a place to sit down for some drinks while waiting for Xiusi and Ede.
When the meeting time was near, Xiusi called to ask us to meet at Platinum instead. I was actually quite pissed because we were at Platinum when we're finding our way back. We actually walked passed it a few times. Haiz...
We went back to the hotel to put down our stuff before leaving for Suan Lum Night Bazaar. When we're there, we walked like siao to find A&W. We're surprised when the people there actually don't know A&W! After some time, we gave up and just ate anywhere.
Back at the hotel, Xiusi can't open her luggage. Since I was on the phone with Addy, I told him.. I was actually laughing at her. =P
Day4:It's the day for us to 买 bra! We went to Siam Paragon. After that, we walked around Central World. When we've concluded that there's nothing to shop, we went back to MBK.
This time, when we went back there, Meihua and I went to see furniture. We actually went to ask how much the furniture cost. The people there were very friendly. We asked for a catalogue and they gave us a calender too! Hee..
After shopping for so many days, it's time for us to go for our foot massage! We went to Health Land at Ekamai. It wasn't as painful as what I've expected. I actually fell asleep! =P Meihua and I kept playing around. My masseur brought my leg to Meihua for her to tickle!!!
Day5:It's our last day! Our last shopping stop was at Chatuchak! Meihua and I kept walking pass the puppies. They're sooooooooo cute!! I really wanna bring one of them home but my mother will scream at me.. sobz... I told the puppies I'll be back next time.. =P
At Chatuchak, I lost my sunglasses. It cost me 199baht. I went to buy another sunglasses which cost 99baht. Ede had a bigger lost. She dropped her hp!!
After shopping, we went back to our hotel to squeeze our shopping into our bag. This time, I realised I can't open my luggage!
At the airport, I asked Xiusi to help me since she managed to open hers the other day. We tried for quite some time. In the end, I decided to use the traditional way. I tried the number combination from 001. After a while, I managed to open! The number was 188! I was SOOOO happy!!
At 2010hrs, we said goodbye to BKK. In the plane, I bought my tiger plush! Hee...
At 2330hrs, we're finally able have a breath of Singapore's fresh air! We're back at our Garden City!
At the airport, I passed Cheeky the liquor that was bought under my passport, got my money and left. I didn't stay to talk to him or Michael at all because my bro was there. He was all dressed up and seems like he was ready to go somewhere else. So... I just said goodbye to everyone and left.
The next day, Meihua told me that Cheeky said I was very unfriendly. It was kinda hurting. I had my reasons for leaving in a hurry. He didn't find out what it was and just make conclusions. Oh well.. Whatever...
~*~*~*I don't understand why he insisted that he has my number and had msg me before. He said I was dao because I didn't reply his msg. I was like what the hell.. I didn't receive any msg from him and I don't have his number. He didn't even wanna check the number he had was correct anot.
I really hate people to jump into conclusions based purely on their perceptions and without clearing any doubts.
