My weekend @ GV was quite interesting... I started work, wearing a moody expression on my face... Tired is all I can say...
Saturday... I didn't get to sleep in the afternoon after work... I wanted to go back to SJC because I've never stepped in since the day I grad... But I didn't go... I didn't have my locker keys... After lunch, I went out to get the keys and started work unwillingly...
CANDY BAR!!! Dunno why... I kinda fear doing candy bar... =P BUT!!! This time, I didn't do much cleaning... =D I got all the super easy job because I took a long time to pack my float... =P
Interesting moments...
1. Samuel and Auntie Choo Lan...
Seems like Samuel missed Auntie Choo Lan too much... He keep talking about her! Auntie Choo Lan this... Auntie Choo Lan that... What he said are all crap!! Though some are true... I managed to get my revenge by using Auntie Choo Lan's name... =D
2. We sell sardine fish??? Potato: Sardine Fish? Ben: Huh? Potato: Sardine fish lah.. Never top up!!! Ben: Huh? What sardine fish? Potato: There... (pointed to the rack) Why never top up ah? Ben: That's not sardine fish lah... Me: Huh? I taught it's cuttlefish...
Potato was kinda embarassed... Then, he said, "Anything lah... Top up Top up..." "Samuel, where's the sardine fish ah?" Ben teased him. =D
3. FIFO or LILO or FILO? Potato: Haiyoh... How come drinks never top up? She: Session just over mah... We very busy so no time to top up lor... Potato: Then how come never top up? I needa do stock take one leh... She: Ok lah... (shifts the older bottles out) Potato: Remember First In Last Out ah... (Everyone blur...) She: What First In Last Out? Potato: Nono... Last In First Out... She: Wrong lah... It's First In First Out... You never study business ah? Potato: No lah... wrong meh? She: Of course lah... Where got people sell things like this one... Potato: Aiyah... Nevermind... Top up Top up...
4. Ben mocks Potato... They were kinda irritated by Potato because he sounded like he's our boss... "Top up top up" "I gonna do stock take one leh..."He kept repeating these phrases whenever he stepped into the candy bar. Someone asked him, "your floor got nothing to do ah? Keep coming in." I have no idea why he keep popping in and ordering us. When he's not in the candy bar, Ben went around immitating, "Top up top up ah... How come never top up?"
Sunday... FLOOR... Slack... Today's the first time I helped to clean the toilet... I just had nothing better to do... Later in the afternoon, I was kinda pissed... Why sometimes I'm the only one on the floor?
1. Where's potato? Someone has to be at the usher point to tear the tickets and someone has to clear the cinema... I can't spilt myself into 2! There's 3 ushers at that time. One was asked to clean the store room, one was me and the other was MIA de Potato. I found him helping out at the Candy Bar... Pissed... I left... When I was about to abandon the usher point, I saw Ben coming out. My saviour!! I asked him to help me out at the usher point while I clear the cinema. When Potato was finally out of the Candy Bar, he looked at the Floor Schedule and asked, "Just now the session who clear the cinema?" I told him that it was me. "Then who tear the tickets?" I told him that it was Ben.
2. "How come never tear ticket?" I was standing at the usher point while the ushers and 2 volunteers from the Candy Bar went to clear cinemas. Patrons were coming in. I was thinking... Clearing of cinema can wait. Moreover, C1 was at the other end, I can't possibly run here and there... though I did that quite a few times... "Don't needa stand there one lah... Nobody also can... You go clear C1..." Potato instructed. I was thinking, "Since he's clearing C3, the one next to the usher point, I can clear C1..." When clearing was done, he walked out from C5. "Some from C5 never tear ticket then go in le... How come no one tear ticket?" I was like "What the hell..." I almost wanted to tell him off... haiz...
Anyways... Overall, it was kinda interesting day... Most of the time, I was disturbing Ben. He explained to me why he was so afraid of Ariel... I asked him to drink the tear drops to calm himself down... Then, it got more and more extreme... we found a pen knife and staple in the drawer...
Me: I teach you... First, you use the staple to staple your mouth so you won't make any noise. Then, you use the pen knife to cut your wrist. Ben: Eeeks!
Ben: Use pen knife and sissors together... Better... Me: Use keys also!! Ben: Keys useless one leh... Me: Aiyah... Use force lah...
After a while, we came up with more and more ideas...
Me: You use staple to staple your mouth... Then use scotch tape to tape over it in case your mouth tear... Then you tie your hands up with this plastic thingy so you won't struggle too much.. And finally, you use the pen knife to cut your wrist... Ben: Oh... Nono... You use scotch tape to tape your mouth first. Then staple your mouth... then scotch tape again... Like this, when your lips tear and the blood flow out, it'll be collected at the scotch tape ther... Me: Oh yah hor... Then you'll get rectangle lips!!! Haha... =P

I was getting kinda hungry... When Cat asked me if I wanna go for lunch, I agreed immediately! We punched out and waited for the lift. Chen Li rushed out suddenly... "Don't go out for lunch!!! The Restaurant got too much food so we have to eat in and try to finish the food!!"
We went back and waited for the food to be delivered. Serene and I would be vegetarians if there wasn't the Cha Siew... Josephine remembered about us! Hee... I wonder why they like to eat duck so much...
After lunch, a group of us were slacking in the conference room... I just joined them for a while because I had to help sorting out the documents there. Jason was making the Donald Duck sound. Serene was fascinated. So, she asked him to make all sorts of sounds...
"Can you make turtle's sound?" Everyone looked at her... "Turtle got sound meh?" Jason asked.
Serene: Ok... Lion? Jason: If it's something that roars, I can't... Serene: How about bear? Jason: I can't... It roars... Serene: Polar bear? Jason: I said... If it roars, I can't!

At about 5plus, going 6, I went around the office to get the documents verified. Jason was kinda shocked to see me. I was expecting him to say, "You're still here ah?" But NO!!! "You're still alive ah???" were the words that came out from his mouth. I was like "huh?" Curious, I asked him why.
He: It's an hour talk leh! Me: Really so long ah??? He: Yah! You managed to survive it!!!
Hmmm... Come to think of it, I was really glad I survived. I knew it lasted quite some time. I felt like yawning when I was being taught about the procedures and stuff. Though it was kinda boring, Ms Lee tried to make it interesting by adding some jokes here and there... =P

It's gonna be my second week at my new job... It's quite ok actually... The only irritating part is... Work starts at 8:30am!!! I have to wake up super early.. *yawnz* But... Work ends at 5pm... =D
Tuesday, few days before I started working, we had a movie marathon!!! =D
Wednesday was our Chinatown dinner!!! My phone was polluted with Xiusi's pictures... She even did a video on herself! Anyways, we managed to get a 3min clip of her on the phone... haha...
Today, Sunday, I practically slept the whole day...
First, I planned to sleep till 10+ but I was woken up... I fell asleep on the sofa at about 12 noon, woke up at about 1pm. After using the computer for a while, I went to my room to sleep... From 2+ to 4pm. I was woken up my the cries and scream that my cousin was 'broadcasting' from the living room. Unwillingly, I woke up, watched television + had my lunch... At 5pm, I went back to bed. I didn't wake up until Tian Tian called me at about 8pm. *yawnz*
My eyelids are getting heavy again... Guess it's bedtime again... =P

It was another day at GV... I had to do kachang!!! I know nothing about it!!! I only know how to collect money... In the end, Andy helped me to open the counter... A few of them helped me to do cup corn when I owed a lot... I got two brothers to help me close it... haha... I wonder when did I have 2 big brothers... *wonder*
Conclusion: My legs almost melted... I nearly rotted there... My fingers were nearly cooked due to the heat from the cup corn... Especially my thumb... It was red by the end of the day! After dinner, I used ice to cool it down... The skin peeled a little but there's no exclaimation mark!!! =D

My second round interview... I didn't have enough sleep because by the time I reached home after work it was already 1:30am! I slept at 2 and woke up at 6:30am!! *yawnz* My dad sent me there!!! Yippie!! If not, I had to travel all the way to expo transfer to another bus and walk in... =D
I don't think the interview went that well... I don't have the confident that I went through. Now, I can only wait for their reply... If there's any...

I woke up unwillingly... Tried to recall what I dreamt of... Then... My phone rang! The caller asked me to go for an interview... I was still kinda blur and agreed... It's not for that 5-rounds interview thingy...
I was unwilling to go when the hands of the clock went nearer to the arranged time... I wasn't in the mood... Anyways... I went for it in the end...
The interview was a short one... After about 10-15mins, I got the job!!! I was kinda shocked and happy! Haha... I'm gonna work near my Nini!!! =D
I was supposed to start tomorrow but I requested to start on Thursday... Tomorrow I'm going for movies!! Actually, I am able to start on Wednesday but I wanna enjoy myself first! By the way, Wednesday is our Chinatown Combo!!! *cheers*
When I wanna leave the office, I thought I had to press a button or something to unlock the door... I wanted to ask someone. I saw a guy entering...
He: Hi, You're looking for..?
Me: Oh.. nono... I just wanna ask how to open the door...
He: Oh... Come come... Very easy... You see this handle? Hold on to it and pull it gently... Simple?
Me: Haha... Like this only ah... I thought must a press button...

So malu!! So paiseh!!! But I can't stop smiling when I remember that scene...
I went to disturb Nini after my interview... but left shortly after her boss came back... Too paiseh to stay on... =P My skin very the thin de... =D
Now, I think Thursday is too early... I forgot about my requests on Friday and Tuesday. Hmmm... Come to think of it, acutally I can still work after work... I end at 5pm... Chinatown to Tiong Bahru is just about 10mins... hmmm... Can I???

Ok! Yesterday was an interesting day!!! At last I met my Xiao Wen!!! =D Long long time never see my Ah Lau... Hmmm... Pisan ah... I jus saw her few days ago... =P
We went to Kbox in the morning. Late comer had to foot the bill!!! As expected, I was the one... but I managed to get away with it!!! wahaha... I paid for the bill first... but I got them to pay me back... =D We had lots of fun in there. Our room had the most noise... hee... because we turned on the volume to erm... quite high... Pisan was complaining about it at first but I guess she's quite used to it after a while... Xiao Wen said, "Must on loud loud then high!!" haha...
Hmmm... I almost lost my voice in there... Maybe because sing too much... haha.. Snatched the mic... =P One of the songs sang was 一起走吧... hee... Though I don't really know how to sing it, I managed to sing it anyhow... =P
To get another hour, we ordered another drink each... hee...

After smuggling lots of tibits in, we enjoyed the show... There wasn't anyone sitting beside me... So... I lift up the arm rest and... Stretched my legs across!!! =P I was wearing a skirt then... I just used my jacket to cover my legs... =P Girls school's behaviour is back... =P
After our movie, we squeezed into the train and made our way back home...
It would be one family if Meiyin was with us too... *sob*

Yippie!!! Being too bored at home, I decided to change my blog skin. Actually, I was planning to get a skin from blogskin.com but a wild idea came to my mind...

I've been having this idea since I can't remember when but I'm just too lazy to do it. Yesterday, I finally got myself to do it!
Without the proper software, I had a hard time doing it. After 4hours of hard work, I managed to come out with my masterpiece! Ta~dah~ =D
It still needs some touch up...
I can't stop admiring at it!!! It's driving Nini crazy... I guess... haha... Hey... can't be helped... It's my first piece of work... =D

At one point, I managed hit a ball into the hole... Their expressions were kinda weird when I did that. "Why you hit your own ball?" one of them asked. I was like "huh? That's mine ah?" I was jumping with frustration... haiz... To console myself, it was a nice shot... haha... =P

Oh yeah! It's been a week since the end of my ITP!!! Yippie!!! That day had come and passed.

Our ITP project was a torture. I volunteered to edit the project since she kept saying she was busy and doesn't have time. On Friday, I asked her to help me out after her lunch. She agreed. However, quite some time passed... she still didn't help me. When I was about to finish, I heard her voice. She was sitting at her desk!!! Grr...!!! Frustrated, I finished what I was doing quickly and went back to the computer to do the rest of the report. When I walked pass her, she was surfing the net and watching funny videos!!! This made me super mad...
25 Feb By right, our official last day should be Saturday, 25 Oct. We treat 24 Oct as our unofficial last day. Unfortunately... or fortunately, I was asked to help out for a workshop on Saturday.
The workshop was an eye-opener for me! Instead of just helping out, Karis and I attended the workshop. We learned about filming, shooting with a DV cam and editing. I always thought that editing was tough but filming wasn't that bad. The workshop proved me wrong. Editing was the easier part. Shooting was the tough part. We had to bare with the hot sun, look for shots and re-take until we have a perfect shot.
I've gotta thank Karis and her boyfriend, Ah-Xing ge, for the hotdog buns and the lift from my house to NUS and from NUS to Orchard! Thanks soooo much!!
After the workshop, I wondered around aimlessly while waiting for time to pass. I wanted to ask Meiyin and the rest out for dinner but it was too last minute. I couldn't wait till for another hour or so to have my dinner. Hunger had turned my legs to jelly. So... I decided to head to Bugis to fill my stomach while waiting for them. When I was Cityhall, Pgek called me!!! I went back to PS to have dinner with her. It was a long long long time since the last time we met. I kept telling her rubbish. whahah... =S
After dinner, we went to Bugis to meet Pi, Meiyin and Pgek's friend and together, we went for Eve's concert!! =D We had a hard time finding the place. When we got there, we're 15mins late! Luckily, we wen't late for Eve's performance! Phew...
As I was kinda tired, I fell asleep during the last 2 pieces... Shhh... I like the children choir!!! =D There was a balloon performance. It was quite interesting. I didn't know balloons can be used to make music!

Nini and I met for an interview. We wanted to give up when we saw the crowd. We were standing at the door deciding whether to go in or not when I felt a tap on my sholder. It was Farah! We chatted for a while then we finally decided to go in. I guess we spent about 2-3hours there!! I found out that I was 1cm shorter than my Nini!!! *sob* Anyways... The wait paid off when I was selected to go onto the second round of interview.
After the interview, we went to the Chan Brother Travel Fair. Then it was prata @ Suntec... After filling our stomach, I had to rush back to Hougang to meet Addy. He had to study for FM the next day and I was supposed to supervise him! whaha..
27 Feb
The whole day, we spent our time waiting. We had to hand in our log books. I didn't have the last page signed so I was asked to get it sign before Wednesday. I didn't have any other things to do in school so I left. On my way to the MRT station, I met darling Meihua. Together with her, I went back to school. Nini was with Jensen @ the 3rd storey. I waited with them while Meihua went up to look for SCW. Meihua came down when she couldn't find him in his office. We decided to have lunch while waiting for him.
In the meanwhile, Meihua almost went mad finding him. He couldn't be reached through his office number. The only person who had his handphone number wouldn't want to help her by just telling him that she was waiting for him. Her reply was "he's not in the office." Duh... My darling knows that... that's why she asked for her help.
We're supposed to be at Pasir Ris by about 1pm. We couldn't leave until our ITP stuff was done. I explained to Huiwen that we'll be late. When SCW was caught at last, we made our way to Industry Service. When we're there, it was closed!! We're like just 5-10mins late... We sat at the staircase, waiting for it to open again. After waiting for a long long time, someone from the Industry Service - I supposed - told us that we don't have to wait. We can just do it through SAS. -.- Wasted our time...
We went to SAC to use the computer. I found a quiz from the Shaggy Dog's webbie. It's to test what dog breed are we or something.. We all tried it. Nini, Meihua and I were Shih Tzu. Jensen was Bulldog!!! whahaha..
The journey from Dover to Pasir Ris was long and tiring. I wonder how could Yvonne endure it... After disturbing Meihua, we're tired and fell asleep throught the rest of the journey. We went to Downtown East after buying food.
Most of the afternoon was spent in the room. Haiz... We just had nothing better to do... haha... =D
Soon, I got bored. I tried to find a playground but it seemed to have disappeared. I tried to find the back exit that leads to Pasir Ris Park but it was gone too! It's either I'm blind, or I just didn't search properly. Disappointed, I went back to the room. It was time to burn the pit! =D
Xiusi, Nini and Lance came in the evening. They came just in time to cook! The cook of the day was Lance! As usual, I just sat down and eat... hee... We had lots of food!
At about 10plus or 11, we decided to do something with the leftovers. We went outside for Round2! I was very persistent about "Zhong Ji Mi Ma". Before we started the round, we decided how much food the loser should eat. Regina and Xiusi lost a few rounds in a row! I kept laughing when they lost! Then, it was retribution... I lost too... *sob*
Meihua helped Si to finish her food. There was a cat!!! I crossed my leg on the bench and Meihua stood up! =D
3 aunties cleaning up... =S Too full after playing the game??? haha.. =P
After bathing, we wanted to go for bowling but it was closed.

It's the 2nd day of our chalet. After bowling in the morning, lunch, and some tv, I left the chalet to meet Addy at Outram. We ended up at my house. We're kinda tired to go anywhere. I didn't miss my chance to torture him with my jigsaw puzzle!!! wahahaha... =P

I had to go back to school because of my log book. Before that, I went back to the office to get a signature.
Tiffany wasn't in the office. So, I asked E-Ying to sign it. I got to drink a bottle of chicken ecsence... =P
After school, I went for movies!!! Final Destination 03! It's been a long time since I've watched movies alone... =X Woosh! I don't find it that gross leh... Maybe I'm kinda used to it... Or maybe I'm kinda used to it... =P

It's career fair with Nini... Before that, it was molesting session with Xiusi... She'll never miss her chance to molest me... *sob* Anyways... After the exercise, we rewarded ourselves with pizza! =D

It's another movie day!!! This time, it's with Pisan, Pgek and Rena. Meiyin couldn't make it at the last minute... *sob* We watched the hillarous Pink Panter. We're pratically rolling in our chairs... haha... =P

Another visit to the Career Fair 2006. This time, we got more info... and we met more people... We saw Connie and Meihua there...
When I was home, I read one of the magazines I took from the fair... I saw an article on the interview I went... There's 5 rounds!!!! Wonder when will it end...
