291207, Saturday

I was supposed to be on mid shift today but Sandy called and asked if I could take Keith's closing shift instead of mine. I was thinking, "why not? Got double pay leh..." So, I agreed.

When it was the last session, we were in a dilema. We had to decide whether to let the customers have the food they want or just reject them. I said, "Cook somemore lor. Customers come because they wanna eat GV food. How can we disappoint them by saying it's sold out?" Haha... I was talking crap. Tze Xuan felt very motivated after hearing what I've said. He started putting 5 Jumbo onto the griller. After doing that, he kept telling everyone to up sell! haha..

In the end, we've got high wastage. =P We tried to think of what reasons to give Doreen if she happen to ask.

When we brought in all the wastage, Doreen was shock to see 10cheesy hotdogs being wasted. We told her, "we don't wanna disappoint customers but in the end they disappointed us by not buying the food we prepared for them. hee...

I didn't know it was already 28 Dec until I received Christina's message and went to look at the schedule. I've also forgotten they've dated me long ago! =P Quickly, I called Chris to ask her where they were.

After waiting patiently for my counter to be closed, I rushed to JP to catch National Treasure with them. Although I was very late, we made it just in time without missing any parts of the show. hee..

After the show, Farah left. Although most of the shops are starting to close, Jam, Jimmy, Chris and I tried walked around JP. We had to waste some time to wait for Aizhen to end her class. After a while, we gave up and left for Liquid Kitchen.

Aizhen and her bf arrived shortly after we've settled down. We ordered food and drinks and started talking and gossiping.

Before I left JDB, there was a new laptop that needs to be setup. It was left with Elena for 1-2 weeks. I was curious when did she setup and return the laptop. Jam said she took about more than 1month! It was not until Steven called to give her a scolding. When Steven asked her about the laptop, she even talked back! Steven was very angry with her at that time. Wow... She really has the guts to talk back to our MD... Wanna die ah?

At Liquid Kitchen, I've ordered Mango Margarita. It was yummy. Another drink I order was The Ultimate Sin. It had Kahlua, chocolate ice cream and whip cream! Really sinful but super yummy!

We left the place at about 1am. I went to Addy's place to save on cab fare... I can't imagine the cab fare from Bukit Timah to my home...

It's the day for us to discuss our iternary. Xiusi, Meihua and I went to Chinatown to discuss.

At one point, I pointed at Siam Paragon. I heard Xiusi said, "my brother.." I was puzzled why she link Siam Paragon with her brother. So, I asked her, "Your brother is called Siam Paragon?" Then, she explained herself... She meant "买bra的." -.-"

After discussing, Xiusi went home to use her house toilet. Meihua and I went for porridge dinner. After dinner, we went to Kovan to bowl. Yanfang joined us for the second game.

The way she played was very funny... very cartoon... Haha... After bowl, we went to Tangerine Cafe to play games and have fondue. We played till 1130pm. Meihua asked us to leave asap because she noticed the operating hours. It closed at 1030pm!! Quickly, we packed up and left the place.

Saturday, 221207

There was a group booking at 2pm. I guess the manager specially arranged Ivan to work to help to clear crowd. He was complaining that he started work later than me but ended earlier than him. I kept irritating him that I end work 5mins later than him. =P

When I was about to end work, Addy came to watch movie. Hehe... I managed to remember his I/C number. So I keyed in his I/C number as member when I purchased his tix. We're 1 step closer to our Gold Class tix!!

After I ended work, I had to wait 30mins for the show that Addy is watching to end. I was wondering why he didn't choose a show that ended earlier.. -.-

After the long wait, we went to Marina Square. We had dinner @ Sakae. Eddie joined us halfway through. After dinner, we went to GV to find Sharmaine.

We couldn't get her on her hp. So, we decided to call the office instead since she's in the cash room. =P

We went to the ATM to draw some money for bowling. I pocketed Addy's $30 when the machine spit the money out. He tried to snatch back but failed. We walked around while waiting for the bowling guy to call us back because they were full at that time. When we finally received the call, we went back to the bowling alley. Addy asked for his $30 back. I was shocked when I realised that my pocket was empty! I asked Addy if he took it back already. He said no. I searched everywhere but I couldn't find the money. Addy thought I was joking with him and asked me to hand the money back to him. After telling him many times that the money wasn't with me, we concluded that the money flew out of my pocket already. We've lost the money!!! *sobz*

I really enjoyed myself when we're playing bowling. The guys were very stressed. I don't understand why leh. Why can't I win them? They say I win them they no face. Haiz..

After bowling, Eddie went to fetch his gf home. We went to GV to wait for Sharmaine to end work. When Sharmaine finally ended work, she said she wanna go for supper. We went to Makansutra.

Throughout the night, Addy kept teasing Sharmaine that she had gained weight. Poor Sharmaine...

I was sliding around when I was in the candy bar. My shoes was slippery without much friction. When I wanna stop, I had to hold onto something to brake.

THEN...

It was session time. Yilin asked me something about box. I rushed over to see what's wrong because I was serving a customer halfway. I was holding a cup in my hand and I forgot my shoes are slippery. I couldn't grab hold of anything in time and slipped. Yilin stood there and kept laughing. I was very paiseh because there's a customer in front!

So SO EMBARRASSING!!!! *sobz*

It's Ms Wong's Bday!!! Actually they wanted to give her a surprise by bring the cake to Cinema2 but there was too many people. So, they waited in the staffroom. I wanted to join the fun too but I had customers @ my counter.

Tze Xuan say we go in to sing Happy Birthday together. I was very excited. I tried to serve the person as fast as I could. By the time I was waiting for the credit card transaction, we heard them singing already. Tze Xuan helped me with the credit card. He said maybe we'll be in time to say "YEAH" inside. By the time I finished serving the customer, they've already finished singing! They were already starting to cut the cake. We went into the staffroom, clapped and said "YEAH" and wished Ms Wong Happy Bday... =P

It was box closing for me! I have to train Changde to do it. Actually, I just have to guide him along to refresh his memory. However, we took a long time trying to tally the numbers! Hidayah came in just in time for us to blame her because she did subtotal on Tuesday. The both of us almost pulled all our hair out trying to find out where went wrong. In the end, we recounted the totals for every single day. In the end, it was Zhongming who calculated wrongly on the second day! -.- It was the worst box closing.

When we're finally done, I couldn't join Meihua @ St James. It was already too late. Haiz.. No drinks for me...

Tuesday, 181207

It was a dinner treat from Xiaowen!! Before meeting them, I went to Park Mall for my Typhoid. While waiting for my turn, I heard the staff talking about those companies with staff without typhoid. After the Prima Deli's incident, those companies were very afraid so they asked their staff to go for the injection. -.-"

It wasn't very scary like what Matthew describe. It hurt a little when the doc poked the needle in. The numbness lasted only for a while. But my 'wound' took a while to stop bleeding.

Since it was still early, I went to watch Heartbreak Kid. It was a rated show. The auntie asked for my I/C before tearing my tix. Hehe... I still look young...

The show was just so-so only. The plot was kinda interesting.

After the show, I realised it was still early. So, I rushed to get another tix for Kingdom. When I wanna enter the cinema again, I saw the same auntie. We smiled at each other. Then, she asked me jokingly, "Are you sixteen already?" I happily replied her, "Of coz! I just came out from a R-21 show."

After the show, I went to get Xiaowen's gift and headed to Clark Quay to meet the rest. Actually I didn't know who else were coming. =P

When everyone (Meiyin, Rena, Xiaowen and Pisan) arrived, we went to Riverside Indonesian Restaurant. Huiyi was still stuck @ work but she promised to make a trip down. =D

It was my first time dining there. I guess it will be my last time too. The food was not bad but the service sucks! We asked for our desserts 2x waited super long them to come. After being impatient, I asked a staff when she looked at us from the table opposite about our desserts. I said we waited very long already. The other customers looked at us too. When she saw the reaction of the other customers, she said it's coming already because got a lot of customers before us. But at that time, many customers have already left. I answered, "Ohh.. Okok. Thanks.. Cuz we asked for it a few times and waited very long already." The other customers were still looking at our directions.

Throughout the whole meal, only the bill came within minutes. -.-"

After dinner, we took some pictures around. I was shocked when I saw the Gmax bungee swing down. I tot there was some technical fault. 原来 it's something new. I was like a mountain tortoise. =P

When we're taking pictures, a group of Caucasians offered to help us take a group pictures. After that, we stood around a xmas tree to take pics. Those Caucasians came again. Again, they offered to help us take a group photo. Haha.. We thought they left after taking the first time.

We took pics and chatted for quite some time. It's been a while since we last met together. I guess because of that, we lost track of time and made someone who's waiting for her gf at home angry. =P

I was cleaning the basin today. This guy came in. From the reflection in the mirror, I could see that he saw me wiping the basin area. He actually just stood behind me and pee in the urinal! -.-"

The cubicles are just a few steps away! He should have the courtesy to pee in the cubicles instead of doing it openly in front of a gal mah... Haiz...

I find that I'm very noisy there leh... I kept irritating Byran... =P But when he ended work and his Jo came, I like ignored him totally... =P After Bryan, Matthew was my next target. Haha... The both of us kept arguing with each other.

I've gotta go for the Typhoid jab!!! Sianz...

Ooooohh... I'm just back from Yijun's bday celeb! It was held at Fantasie Pub, Serangoon Gardens.

Before leaving for exams, I watched Disturbia. It was very exciting! The starting was kinda slow though. My mom joined in halfway through. After watching halfway, I realised I would be late for my paper! I quickly packed my bag and rushed out.

Outside the exams hall, nobody except Kit was in the mood for revision. It was the last paper and everyone was tired. It was an open book exams anyways...

After the paper, some of them went to have delicious Ang Mo Kio crab! I didn't join them... =( I went to Tiong to look for someone to take over my shift for Tues. I actually forgot about Xiaowen's dinner!!

While waiting for the train at Raffles Place, an uncle asked me how to get to Chinatown. I brought him to the map and showed him how to get there. When we boarded the train, he turned back, smiled at me and handed me his namecard. I couldn't really hear what he was saying because the train was kinda noisy. He said if I have any interest in being a tour guide or shipping, I can give him a call. Wahahaha... Interesting! Hee..

At Tiong, I was practically pulling my hair out when I looked at the schedule. I was kinda hard to find a replacement! After scratching my head for some time, I managed to change shift with Zhongming. After settling that, I rushed off to Kovan for dinner.

On the way, Meihua messaged me about Wednesday night. I was like "SHOOT!!!" I totally forgot about Wednesday night and changed for a shift which ended at 1am!!! So, on Wednesday, I will have to chop chop finish my closing and chase everyone who's sharing cab wif me to hurry up. =P

After dinner at Kovan, it was time to leave for Yijun's Bday! She had booked the whole hall! It was a whole night of singing and drinking session! I actually sang 中国话 4x wif Yijun!! haha... When Samuel came, he kept saying 'BOTTOMS UP!' I tried to escape by drinking half of my drink only. In the end, I got lectured... Haiz.. When Marian and Kim came, they were surprised to see me. Then they 'BOTTOMS UP' again!! I pretended to be hiding or singing to escape but failed. *sobz*

All in all, I think Yijun opened 3bottles! Woooh... I lost count of the number of drinks I had but I guess I drinked more than the other time we went to Zouk after our last paper last year. =P

Yeah! Tomorrow is my last paper! I'm gonna force Addy to bring me to watch Enchantered @ Singapore Discovery Centre!!! Wahahahaha...

The world is getting smaller... It's like the life version of Friendster...

First, it was Wenkai... Only after working with him for some time, I realised he knew Huiwen too... Then it's JJ and Qiu Qiu... One day he surprised me when he called me and asked about Qiu Qiu... Now it's Si and my bro... Actually I wasn't surprised to see the name 'Joel' leh because there are so many thousands of Joels in this world. I was surprised when Si said he's my bro... -.-"

The world is just full of surprises waiting for us to reveal...

Yesterday was my first paper... In the afternoon, I went to look for my monster, Addy. When I alighted from the bus, it was POURING!! I ran all the way from the bus stop to the traffic light. At that moment it was 'red-man'. I was thinking of just crossing without waiting but decided not. So, I waited in the rain like an idiot. This girl saw me and asked if I wanted to share her umbrella. I was thinking "why not?" I thanked her and went to her 'shelter'. Her umbrella was kinda small but it was better than nothing. While waiting at the traffic junction, a bus drove pass us and gave us a BIG present! Water from the road splashed at us!! What a lucky day...

Luckily I didn't buy food before boarding the bus. If not I have to dry the food before we can eat them. =P I got our lunch at the plaza and took a cab to Addy's house. That guy's still not home yet!! In the end, he asked his sis to open the door for me. I was a bit paiseh when I entered the house with food in my hands. I got a feeling that she hasn't eaten yet. =P

Anyways, I quickly went to change into some dry clothes and have my lunch. Addy only came back after I finished my lunch... When he saw me watching tv, he released his monster side and dragged me to the room and forced me to study... I had to confess... I fell asleep for sometime... =P

When it was almost time, I went for my paper... Everywhere feels cold... My skirt is still kinda wet... My jacket is WET! Throughout the exam, I was shivering.

When I came out of the exam hall, Gillian said they were asking ridiculous questions. One of her answers actually had the word 'ridiculous' in it! -.-" Reminds me of a classmate of mine. For Chinese class, we had to form sentences with some words provided (完成句子). She actually wrote in her paper, 老师，我不明白这个字是什么意思。It made teacher very mad when she saw her answer... Haha...

It's coming..!!! My first paper is on Mon!! Still, I don't have the satisfied feeling that I've revised. I don't have the confidence... Especially for Strategic Marketing! I spent the whole day studying only 2-3 chapters! Hopefully I can speed up and finish at least 6 chapters today... Wahahaha...

Yesterday I ordered the blouse I wanted from Tu Tu's Wardrobe. I was very excited because it's my first time purchasing online by myself. Previously, my ex colleagues were the ones who placed the order. All I did was to choose what I want. Hee..

Anyways, when I placed my order, I was told that the blouse was already sold out!! If I know I place my order earlier!! *sob* I've gotta wait till next month for the stocks to arrive... *sob sob*

Since I'm waiting for the blouse, I shall also get the jacket cuz it's also out of stock... Hee... If my mother can't wear the jacket, it'll be mine!!!Wahahaha...

I'm still wondering what's wrong....

The day I dreamt of cockroaches, I had scratch marks on my arms... The next day, I realised I've got a scratch on my eyelid.

Yesterday, I had a cut on my thumb... I don't know why I felt very excited when I told Addy.. Like I had a great achievement... -.-" Addy thought I was crazy... =P

Today, I realised I've a blue black on my knee...

I wonder what have I been doing while sleeping... I don't remember tossing and turning when I'm sleeping... So weird... Or did anyone beat me while I'm sleeping?

So disappointed... There's no news about the contest for Heartbreak Kid... *sob* Everyday I check my mail to see if I've won the tix but there isn't any! Wonder if I've accidentally deleted it or not...

I have the sudden urge to shop online!! Cannot cannot... Gotta save for my new year's shopping spree... Sooooo excited... I'm gonna rape Meihua if she dun wanna cook or the food she cook isn't delicious... Si will be my accomplice!! Wahahaha...

I've told them before not to leave the KFC boxes at the corner but they said it's ok because they are just empty boxes.

Few weeks later, I saw coakroaches around those boxes. When I took one of the boxes out, a few cockroaches came out! I screamed and dropped the box. When the box landed on the floor, more came running out from it!

I was shocked and asked why are there so many cockroaches. Someone said maybe it's because there's some chicken bones in them. I thought someone told me they were empty boxes!? But the answer I got was, "When did we say that? They're rubbish which are supposed to be thrown away..."

I was very mad at that moment as I tried to clear the 'rubbish'. To my surprise, that area had been infested with cockroaches!! I asked for the pesticide and started spraying everywhere! They started crawling everywhere when the boxes were being removed!!

When I was wonder why there isn't anyone helping me, a guy came over and said, "let's make this faster." As he said, he poured the contents out from a container. I was shocked to see lots of cockroach eggs!! Some 'baby cockroaches' came crawling out!!

After the mess was cleared, I looked at the bottle of pesticide in my hand. The label actually said it was a liquid for washing vegetables! I was puzzled why I was asked to use that to kill the cockroaches. When I sprayed on them, they actually died. To test whether it's really for washing vegetables, I poured the remaining bottle into a bowl of dumplings.

After doing that, I woke up and realised it's all a dream...

Weird dreams keep finding me these days...
