Story 1: Ah Kua Comes to Redeem TicketAh Kua: I want to redeem my ticket with this (Telephone Bill)
Staff: Ok
Staff took the bill and chopped 'Redeemed' on it.
Staff: (Feeling a bit weird, staff asked manager) This paper correct anot?
Mgr: Wrong!
Staff: Oh no...
Staff: Sorry sir, this is not the right paper to redeem the ticket
Ah Kua: What wrong paper! I've redeemed before with this!
Mgr: Sir, you've gotta bring the right papers before we could give you your voucher.
Ah Kua: What you mean! I've redeemed before using the exact same documents!
Mgr and Ah Kua settled the problem while staff serves the other customers in the queue. While serving, staff heard Ah Kua saying, " I want you to write your name, i/c no., and reason on this paper. I may go to other outlets to redeem."
After some time, Ah Kua came back with the right documents. Staff asked her senior to check the papers for her. Then Ah Kua said something that made staff mad, "You mean you all so sua ku never see SingTel bill before?" With steam coming out from her head, she pulled out a piece of paper (the right documents) and replied, " Sir, actually we need your bill and this paper as a proof before giving you the voucher. Without this, we can't give it to you." Seeing that the paper doesn't look like the one he had brought, he kept quiet.
After he left, staff told senior, "Hope he roll down the escalator. This guy dunno how his parents teach him his manners." "Yah lor... He can spend $50 on telephone bill but so stingy. Even a $8 voucher also like die die wanna take," Senior replied.
In the staff room, Manager told us what Ah Kua said, "He's very rude leh. He said, 'you mean you all so sua ku never see SingTel bill before ah? So sua kua never see people redeem this before ah?'
Sad to say... I'm the staff...
Story 2: Black Bird Flew into Candy BarFeeling lazy, I decided to kick a piece of servette that I used to wipe my hands, to the dustbin instead of picking it up. After a few kicks, I felt tired. I tried to use one kick to kick it to the dustbin. Forgetting that my shoe is kinda loose, it flew towards Zhong Ming, who was washing the popper. I ran to get my shoe.
Me: Sorry sorry...
Zm: Sushi ah... I thought got black bird fly in leh. Gimme a shock...
At that time, I squat down and kept laughing.
Story 3: Ghost TunnelMe: Hey... You EOS ah... Later got Ghost Tunnel leh.. You clear alone... I heard it's very scary leh... Last night I wanted to clear, I got a shock. The ending very scary!!! The last part is the ghost crawl out from the railway track and "WAH" scare you!!
WP: Huh.. Really ah..
Me: You don't believe me? Don't believe lor...
Patrons watching Ghost Tunnel came out. WP went to clear. When I went back to the ursher point, he came and asked, "Just now you said that part is after credit or what?"
When I heard him asking, I kept laughing! I laughed till I missed a step and fell. So paiseh..
"Bluff you de lah.."
After saying, I went to C5 to help him clear. In the cinema, he asked again if what I've told him will appear anot. Then I said, "Now the show over already. Nothing will appear on the screen. Something will appear only if people upstairs wanna scare you..."
In the staff room, I told Sharmaine about what I told WP. She kept laughing. Of course, at that time, he wasn't present.
At the ursher point, he said, "Wah lao!! You know I don't dare to go in leh! The show end already and everyone left the cinema I still don't dare to go in leh. I scared the ghost suddenly crawl out and scare me! I kept peeping into the cinema to see if that part over anot!"
Sharmaine came out and told me she laughed at WP when he came into the staff room but he don't know the reason. WP heard it and asked about it. We die die also didn't tell him, saying that it's a secret between us. hee...
Story 4: Staff Challenged ManagerI went to Cashroom to disturb Sharmaine. She was packing money. When she used this machine to count the notes, I found it very interesting and said I wanted to play too. Soon, both of us ended playing.
The challenge was to see who had the most number of stacks of notes in our hands. WP came in and saw us playing. We're practically snatching from each other. WP said the game was childish... Anyways... Childish or not, we had fun.. =D

I'm kinda tired of looking for jobs. I can only think of 2 reasons why I can't get it so easily.
1. Because I'm studying part time.
2. Because I'm just not good at all...
I'm always asked if I'm willing to travel to the work place like from Hougang to Bukit Batok... When I'm in Poly, I travelled from Hougang all the way to Dover. I chose SP partly because it was the furthest Poly from my home. I don't see any harm travelling. It's not that I'm too old to work somewhere far from my house.

The thought of apply for CE @ GV suddenly appeared in my mind... My resume doesn't look good at all. There's a large gap from the time I quit SE till now. If I didn't put SE in my resume, the gap will be bigger because it'll mean that I didn't have a full time job at all for a year since I've graduated! At least if I managed to stay there for about a year or so, I can remove SE from my resume and it can fill up the gap.
But now, another question... Will they hire me? If they do, will they adjust my schedule till it suits my study timetable?

An Unlucky Day...
Yesterday was the worst Candy Bar opening for me. I don't know what's wrong with me.
Come to think of it, I'm only left with popcorn to pop then I'm complete.
I was serving box. People were queuing at the Candy Bar! My Candy Bar, Daniel, hasn't come in yet. Mdm Chin came in to help. After a while, Daniel came in. When he came in, he kept complaning that my opening is very lousy. I was very irritated with him because he kept complaining non-stop. I wanted to ask him to shut up and just pour the popcorn which I've prepared into the popper but his complains made me unwilling to talk to him at that moment. So, I just did it myself.
I don't know what's wrong with me! I didn't know I did not awitch on the oil pump. I told Sharmaine that the popper is out of oil! Sharmaine told Daniel to get a tin when he's done with his counter.
After a long time, he still didn't get the tin of oil. I don't know what he's doing. So, I went to drag the the tin from the store myself. I told Sharmaine that I don't know how to change the oil. So, she help me. She told me that there's still half tin left. She said maybe I didn't switch on the pump. She covered back the tin that I took and tried to bring it back to the store. Then...
"Ahhh..."
I heard her scream. The tin of oil spilled onto the floor! Half a tin is on the floor! Quickly, I went to take a stack of newspaper to cover. Mdm Chin came to help. The 3 of us tried to clean the oil spill while Karen and Daniel serve the customers. I felt very bad about it and kept apologising to Sharmaine. She angry but she said it was very fun and we should do it once in a while. -.-" After about 1 hour plus, the mess was cleared.
When I was alone in the staff room, I cried. I felt so bad...
After work, I signed in to watch Curse of the Golden Flower with Hidayah because she said she was very bored at home. While waiting for her to come, I helped Mdm Chin.
Hidayah and I had lots of question marks. I don't quite understand the story. =P We sat downstairs and chatted for about an hour plus before heading home.

To end off 2006 and start 2007, I did my countdown @ Tiong...

After switching shift with Zhong Ming, I managed to drag Addy out to Vivo for Death Note. I die die also wanna watch a show at GV Max. Hee...
Luckily it's a BIG theatre... If not, we can't get any seats. Not even the front rows... Phew.. We reached just in time to watch the last few seconds of the last thriller! =P After the movie, we had to rush to work.
At work, I was immediately 'suan' by Weiping then followed by Bryan and Wei Hong. -.- They were shocked to see me working for closing. It's been about 2 months since the last time I did closing. Luckily I still remembered what to do... Though I'm a bit slow. =P
While working, Malcom said we had to do our own countdown. At 12 sharp, we had to celebrate. However, that did not happen. It was about 12:15 when someone came in and said, "Happy New Year!" I was shocked. It had already passed midnight and we didn't realise! Haiz...
Today, I did morning. When I started work, I feel 'high'. Ohh.. I mean super blur... Whatever Siti told me, I had to take some time to process then reply her.
After cleaning the coffee machine, I pressed for a cup of teh-tarik. It tasted like coloured hot water! I kept complaining to Siti about it. Then, suddenly, she asked, "Just now after cleaning, did you unlock it?" After thinking for some time, I remembered I didn't! Haiz...
I went into the store to get something. When I was about to reach for the door, it opened by itself! I got a shock and screamed! It's not because of the door. It's because Weiping opened it suddenly and "WAH" loudly and frightened me. I wanna get my revenge!!!
He said last time I was a rabbit. Now, I'm a tiger. BUT! It's him who turned me into a tiger! Hehe.. Sooner later, he'll be no match for me... =P
